Water was not always my element. I have learned how to swim at the age of six, at the Cubs Scout.
Growing up I did occasionally go to swim with my family, but until the age of 19 I never did snorkel.
My passion for the ocean grew rapidly strong after I started my first water-related job, and from there to my dive instructor course it felt like the natural course of things on my path.
I’m always excited to go for a dive,
even if I’ve been to that dive site a hundred times!
I love what I do, and that’s why, as soon as I started earning some decent money I promised myself that the goal would be one day to build my own Dive Center.
Many years later, and definitely many jobs later, Hangnaameedhoo is both my goal and my new starting point.
In here I want to keep learning and keep sharing my passion for the ocean and love for this beautiful country.
Hope to meet you numerous and soon at Scuba Therapy Maldives!
